Green track
Commercial actors play a significant role as drivers and enforcers of public policy in the green transition. New sustainability regulation expose private companies and public entities to new liabilities if they do not take into account ESG requirements through reporting, company policies and contracts, applying a full value chain perspective. Companies will also be required to comply with circularity requirements when putting new products on the markets and contracts and liability standards must be adjusted to meet circularity demands. Finally, climate litigation now targets not only states but also private actors such as large energy providers for not living up to the Paris agreement. In CEPRI, we focus on these issues and other issues related to the green transition in a private governance perspective. Find our collective green projects here:
