Nordic Conference on Law and Information Technology 2022
"Humans, data and law: tectonic plates in motion"
Over recent times, the European regulatory landscape has experienced several quakes with proposals such as the Digital Services Act, Digital Market Act, Data Governance Act, Data Act, Artificial Intelligence Act as well as other soft-law initiatives, attempting to adjust to the fast-paced developments in our digital society, many of which relate to challenges caused by scale and automation.
Time to take a step back and take a look: how are the tectonic plates of Law and Information Technology moving in the 2020s? What are the regulatory approaches? What is their interplay, what are common issues, what are common solutions? What is a Nordic perspective? And also: how should our legal education reflect the new technological world?

🏠 Conference location
The welcome reception as well as the two conference days will take place at Klub. Klub is very centrally located on Linnésgade 25, 1361 Copenhagen. On the conference days, you are welcome to come to Klub already as early at 8 am for a breakfast (at own expense) and use their space for meetings.
Klub is located next to Nørreport metro station. Find your way to our venue through the Journal Planner. You need a 2-zone ticket when your travel within the city and a 3-zone ticket when you travel to/from airport. You can buy tickets from the ticket machines located in all metro stations.
🏕 Accommodation
All conference locations (Klub, Høst, Faculty of Law) are centrally located in Copenhagen. It is generally very quick and easy to get around Copenhagen by public transport (though, often even faster –and more Danish– by bike 🚲). There are generally many decent hotels in Copenhagen (City, Vesterbro, Nørrebro, Amager) as well as Airbnbs. At the Faculty of Law, we regularly use the following hotels among others:

📂 Previous Nordic Conferences on Law and Information Technology
This is the 37th Nordic Conference on Law and Information Technology. The first Nordic Conference was apparently held in Mariefred (outside Stockholm) from 5-6 October 1984. 1985 was held in Oslo, 1986 in Aarhus, 1987 in Finland (either Rovaniemi or Helsink), 1988 in Stockholm and so on (thanks to Olav Torvund for finding the info!).
