About the centre
The Information and Innovation Law (CIIR) centre was established as a centre at the Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen in January 2010 (as a research team in May 2009). The objective of the centre is to establish a research body dealing with the legal issues within the information and innovation law areas such as copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, data protection and personality rights. The research of CIIR includes both national and international regulation and for some of the research projects a horizontal approach examining the commons of the various law areas.
