Primære forskningsområder

Asbjørn Thranov’s PhD project focuses on when and how international law applies to hostile cyber operations below the threshold of the use of force or an armed attack, such as election interference, cyber espionage and disinformation.  Furthermore, the project examines what lawful countermeasures states can use against violations of international law in cyberspace. Asbjørn Thranov is also affiliated with the Danish Institute for International Studies.
