The climate and sustainability Moot Court

The purpose of this Moot is to foster legal studies of sustainability and the green transition at different levels of governance: National, international and EU law and in various areas of law. The students will train advocacy skills in writing of memoranda and presenting arguments in oral hearings. Participation in the Moot Court can be  ECTS-credited.

The Climate and Sustainability Moot Court will use the role of law in the green transition as a starting point and bring together various areas of law Public Law and Commercial Law etc. from the all the different research centers at the Faculty of Law at UCPH. The idea is that  participants analyse a problem, research the relevant law, prepare written submissions, and present oral argument. The Moot courts cases will be devolped in areas of law that are unsettled or that have been subject to recent developments.
