New Visiting Researcher at iCourts - Patrick Leisure
Patrick Leisure is a re:constitution fellow 2025-2026, a researcher at the Judicial Studies Institute on the ERC-funded INFINITY project, and a final-year PhD candidate at the Department of Constitutional Law and Political Science of Masaryk University Faculty of Law.
His PhD project examines the case law of the European Court of Human Rights involving primary and secondary schools. A member of the New York bar, he holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, an LL.M. in European Law from Université Panthéon-Assas, Paris-II, and a B.A. from William and Mary. His research interests lie in education law and policy, human rights, international law, and judicial studies. Recent work has been published in the International Journal of Human Rights, Human Rights Law Review, and the Stanford Journal of International Law.
