New Visiting Researcher at iCourts - Olga Pushina
Olga Pushina is a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lapland. The title of her PhD project is “ECHR compliance and institutional change: the impact of the ECtHR case law on the domestic housing law and policy in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe”.
Her PhD examines the role of the European Court of Human Rights in the democratic transition process of Central and Eastern European countries. In particular, as a case study, she focuses on how the ECtHR has influenced housing policies in the CEE states, promoting compliance with the principles of the rule of law and good governance.
