New visitor at iCourts - Olamide Ibrahim
Olamide Ibrahim is a PhD student at the Faculty of Law, University of The Western Cape. He holds a Master’s Degree (LLM) in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. His current research focuses on developing a model for amicable settlement of disputes by the African Court.
Olamide is a qualified lawyer of about 15 years’ experience in Nigeria. He is currently a Senior Special Assistant to the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Lagos State Nigeria. Previously, Olamide had interned with the African Union Commission and was a visiting researcher for New York University and Harvard Humanitarian Initiative on the aftermath of Super-storm Sandy in the New York Area.
His research interests lie within the fields of International and Comparative Human Rights, African Human Rights System and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
