Breakfast Briefing with Miriam Cullen

International Human Rights Law and Kalaallit Nunaat / Greenland
Abstract
As the relationship between Greenland and Denmark receives increased attention, understanding it through the lens of international law provides a crucial framework for interpreting and shaping domestic legal arrangements. In this presentation, Miriam sets out those parameters with particular focus on international human rights law. By situating domestic approaches within these broader legal obligations, she highlights how focusing on positive measures required under human rights law could serve as a platform for improving the relationship between Denmark and Greenland.
