Subjects and courses

We offer approx. 100 courses at master's level per year, divided into 36 subject areas, that you can apply to as a credit student at the Faculty of Law.
You will find the course descriptions in the course catalogueThe new course catalog is published on 1 May and applies to the following academic year.

 

As a credit student, you can apply for admission to all courses on the master's programme. It is not possible to follow subjects on the Master of Social Sciences in Law programme

It is also not possible to be registered for the following courses subjects:

  • Written project
  • Legal English
  • Introduction to EU Law and Institutions
  • Lawyer's Latin
  • Courses starting with 'specialised' or 'advanced'
  • Academic Internship

If you wish to take courses at master's level, the only general requirements are that you have a bachelor's degree and that you are currently enrolled in a master's degree in a Danish university.

If you are not enrolled in Denmark, you have the option of applying as a guest student

It is important that you check the course description for any academic prerequisites that may be specified, in order for you to actively participate in and complete the course.

If you are a bachelor's student at a Danish university, you can apply for the course Law and Religion (taught in Danish) on the bachelor's programme. 

You must document that you are an active bachelor's student when you apply for admission as a credit student, by submitting a stamped and signed confirmation of enrollment-letter with your application.

Classes are taught for 10-13 weeks per semester, 3-4 hours per week. The semesters starts in February and September. 

The first classes and indicative exam periods appears in the course descriptions, under the individual course.
