New Visiting Researcher at CeBIL - Tatiana Aranovich
Tatiana Aranovich is a PhD researcher at Macquarie Law School working at the intersection of health law, regulation and emerging technologies. Her doctoral project develops a legal and policy framework to strengthen transparency and accountability for AI medical devices in Australia, informed by comparative analysis (EU/US) and interviews with clinicians.
In 2024, she completed an internship with Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), producing a report to support evolving regulatory approaches to medical AI. She teaches Law and Technology, Contracts and Torts, and contributes to grant projects on generative AI and on transparent, safe AI in healthcare.
With 16 years’ experience - including eight years at Brazil’s national health regulator - Tatiana brings a practice-informed, multidisciplinary perspective focused on policy translation and industry engagement, and welcomes collaboration with researchers, regulators and industry.
