Visiting Researcher at CeBIL: Anahita de Lafond
Anahita de Lafond is visiting CeBIL 1 September - 30 November 2026.
Anahita de Lafond is a PhD candidate at the Health Law Institute of University of Neuchatel (Switzerland) under the supervision of its co-founder Prof. Sprumont, Chairman of the Vaud Cantonal REC. She holds BAs in French Law, Italian Law, Biomedical Sciences, and a MA in Comparative Health Law from the universities of Paris Cité, Neuchatel and King’s College.
Her research compares the regulation of health-related AI research in Switzerland and the EU, specifically Denmark. She is also the secretary of swissethics AI Working Group.
Simultaneously, she coordinates the development of the worldwide e-learning platform TRREE on research ethics and regulation.
At CeBIL, her research focuses on the Swiss and Danish models for consent to health-related AI research, their insights and alignment with the WMA Declaration of Taipei, to inform the latter’s ongoing revision. Outside of work, she enjoys making art, playing music, and outdoor sports.
