New visitor at CeBIL - Ayushi Agarwal

Ayushi is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law and the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics, University of Oxford. Her research focuses on the regulation of human enhancement technology (such as smart drugs, bionic limbs and gene editing) from an equality perspective. She is interested in all issues related to human rights, novel technology, and intellectual property rights. 

Ayushi’s work has appeared in international peer-reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Discrimination and the Law, and has been presented at the Universities of Cambridge, Siena, Rotterdam and Lisbon (among others). She has taught at Oxford as a Lecturer at The Queen's College, as a Tutor at Mansfield College, and has been a student resident at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights. 

Before starting her doctoral studies, Ayushi worked as an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School in India, and as an International Fellow at DeJusticia in Colombia. She read for the Bachelor of Civil Law at Oxford as a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann scholar and completed her undergraduate studies at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India as a gold medallist.
