The Nordic-German IP Network Meeting
Join us on November 14th-16th for the traditional 'Network meeting' for Danish and German PhD students in intellectual property law
The Nordic-German IP Network Meeting is a forum where junior and senior researchers working in the field of intellectual property law discuss their research. It takes place annually in one of the Nordic countries or in Bavaria. This year the meeting will be hosted at University of Copenhagen.
This November, the research centres, Centre for Information and Innovation Law (CIIR) and Centre for Advanced Studies in Bioscience Innovation Law CeBIL, are jointly hosting a networking event for German and Danish PhD students in Copenhagen, two days filled with networking opportunities, presentations, and discussions. This event consists of presentations, comments and discussions of projects from PhD students from Nordic and German universities to an audience of PhD students and selected professors. In addition, there will be lectures by high-profile practitioners, with discussions around the conference's theme: "The importance of legal science for legal practice".
With the idea of diversifying inputs into the discussions and spreading knowledge of what it means to work academically in law, this year, we have decided to invite four or five younger (in age or career) Danish practitioners to join; preferably new (1-3 years) lawyers, company lawyers, etc. with similar seniority working with intellectual property rights.
