PhD defence: Amanda Lee Shapiro
It is a great pleasure for the Faculty of Law to invite all interested parties to LL.M. Amanda Lee Shapiro´s public defence of her thesis entitled:
Sex, Drugs, and Rights to Uphold
The United States´ and Denmark’s Compliance with Human Rights Obligations to Gender Non-Discrimination in Health Care.
The thesis has been evaluated by a committee consisting of:
- Professor Janne Rothmar Hermann, University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Law
- Professor Benjamin Mason Meier, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
- Professor Henriette Sinding Aasen, Faculty of Law, University of Bergen.
Supervisor is Professor Mette Hartlev, University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Law.
The public defence takes place on Friday 29 November 2024 at 13:00 in Auditorium 4A.0.69, Njalsgade 76, ground floor, 2300 Copenhagen S.
After the defence Amanda Lee Shapiro and the Faculty of Law will host a reception in meeting room 7A-0-16, Pejsestuen, Njalsgade 76, ground floor, 2300 Copenhagen S. The reception ends at 17.00.
