Presentation at the IFA Congress 2023 in Cancún by Associate Professor Marta Papis-Almansa

Associate Professor Marta Papis-Almansa presented during the YIN seminar “Consumption Taxes in the Digital Economy. Where are we now?”. Her contribution to the international panel has been the EU perspective on methods of taxing and collecting VAT on cross-border digital services and e-commerce. Based on her ongoing VATTECH project, Marta commented also on the current and future challenges of the use of technology in VAT from the point of view of taxpayers’ rights.
