Ida Helene Asmussen postdoc at WELMA

Ida Helene Asmussen has been employed as postdoc at WELMA in the period 1 August 2014 – 31 July 2015

Ida Helene AsmussenIda's research is focused on legal construction of identity, especially ”genetic identity”. Her research is part of an interdisciplinary 2016-project ”The Genomic History of Denmark” leaded by professor Eske Willerslev, Centre of GeoGenetics. Collaboration partners are among others professor, Dan Zahavi, Department of Media, Cognition and Communication and professor Mette Hartlev, Faculty of Law, WELMA.

Ida has earlier been working as a deputy judge. She is educated at the University of Copenhagen with a BA. in Nordic Studies and Linguistics, MA. in Law and a newly defended ph.D. at the Faculty of Law: ”From Rule of Law to Rule of Love – A Confessional Practise in Restorative Justice”. The ph.D.-thesis is published as a book on the 11th of August 2014.
