PhD-course "Feedback - used formatively as part of the learning process"

In this workshop, we will focus on feedback in the context of teaching and learning at The Faculty of Law, UCPH. After a brief introduction to the concept of feedback to as a tool to support students' critical thinking, we will take a closer look at the following:

  • Supervision of students who are writing their master's thesis
  • Feedback after oral exams
  • Feedback on students' oral presentations in class
  • Peer feedback

Participants will learn how to plan for, facilitate/provide, and evaluate the various kinds of feedback without falling into the usual pitfalls. Among other things, we will focus on how to formulate clear criteria for feedback and communicate these to the students. Participant will share experiences for reflection and mutual learning.
