EUPoLex in the European Civil Society

In this section, you will find all the outreach activities organized by the action or where the members of the teams have participated to increase awareness and promote policy debate on EU legal-political affairs among students, academics, policy-makers and public opinion in Denmark, the EU and other Member States (e.g. public seminars and conferences, blogposts or newspapers contributions). You will also find information about career events oriented to promote the professional involvement of younger generations of danish and European citizens in EU affairs.

 

 

The talk series consists of public debates with key EU scholars and actors on EU judicial and legal governance issues that reaches out to the interests of students, as well as in the wider academic, legal and political community in Denmark, the EU and other EU Member States.

In collaboration with the Danish and EU institutions academic and policy-making institutions, the Chair will convene once per year a fair where students are informed about different career paths within the EU policy and legal market. The event help students to optimize their chances to accommodate their skills and competences learned during the EUPoLex activities to the demands of key institutions and stakeholders within the EU and Denmark working on EU policy-legal affairs. Moreover, the fair provides the participants with the awareness and knowledge to assess a career in EU-related institutions or organizations, creating a positive attitudes towards EU-oriented professions among the students. It also offers opportunities for networking and get first-hand advice from professionals who successfully pursued a career with an impact in EU policy-legal making and in the future of the EU.
