Yasin's PhD project seeks to explore the contributions and roles of police forces and Multilateral Police Organizations (MPOs) in international criminal justice. The project explores how these entities can mitigate operational challenges faced by International Criminal Courts and Tribunals, such as limited field presence and reliance on state cooperation. Through a combination of semi-structured interviews with current and former international criminal justice practitioners, and case studies, the research seeks to offer insights into the dynamics of international cooperation and field operations in the realm of atrocity crime fighting.
