Conclusion: Making ‘the Other’ Explicit
Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceeding › Book chapter › Research › peer-review
In the concluding chapter a follow-up (and necessary) endeavour is presented: the need to explore national imaginaries of Europe, with particular emphasis on the post-communist Europe and the importance of 1989 for both ‘Old Europe’ and its utopia of ‘Ever Closer Union’ and its ‘Other’: post-communist Europe, which believed in the ideology of its return to the former.
