This Chapter examines how CPBs are structured and used in Denmark. The first CPB in Denmark was established in 1994 with what is today called Staten og Kommunernes Indkøbsservice A/S (SKI). Generally, the political environment is positive towards CPBs and CPBs are often used. Some agreements are mandatory for contracting authorities to use and the tendency to establish mandatory agreements is increasing. Almost 50 % of all procurement procedures in Denmark involve framework agreements, thus it’s not surprising that the CJEU’s recent case Autorita has gained a lot of attention in Denmark - even leading to the complaints board asking the CJEU for a preliminary ruling, C-23/20, Simonsen and Wehl. The outcome of the case can potentially change the way framework agreements are used today
