Timo Minssen - Invited speaker

CeBIL director, Professor Timo Minssen represented the University of Copenhagen, CeBIL and CORS at the "Denmark-Japan Symposium on Regulatory Science & Real World Data in Decision Making" in Tokyo. The schedule includes meetings at the Japan Patent Attorneys Association, as well as with Professor Hisashi Urushihara and his team at the Division of Drug Development & Regulatory Science Faculty of Pharmacy at Keio University Tokyo. 80 subject-matter experts from authorities, academic institutions and industry take center stage at this symposium, delivering regulatory perspectives on RWD and RWE use during medicines life cycle. Professor Timo Minssen was invited as a result of CeBIL's collaboration with Professor Hisashi Urushihara, whom we had the honour of hosting at the Faculty of Law during his visit to Denmark. His visit and the collaboration was generated as part of a broader project in which Keio University joined the Japan-Denmark Health Network, engaging in regulatory science cooperation to support bilateral collaboration on the impact of medicines and device regulation on health, the economy and society. This was facilitated in collabaration with Joakim Steen Barron-Mikkelsen and the Danish Embassy in Tokyo, to whom we owe this engagement.
