CeBIL Director Timo Minssen joined the panel discussion together with Aasa Feragen from DTU, Samuel Demharter, a senior data scientist from Genmap and Thomas Trolle, the director of bioinformatics and AI/ML at Evasion. Synapse - Life Science Connect is the largest student-run non-profit organization in the Nordics. We are driven to bridge the gap between academia and industry by exposing life science students to different career opportunities and supporting them in making career decisions. We do this by inspiring, developing, and connecting students through events, workshops, networking events, and conferences. The Copenhagen Life Science Summit (CLSS) is our most prestigious flagship event and attracts around 300 students each year. The CLSS aims to inspire students by bringing together some of the leading life science professionals in the Copenhagen area and letting them talk on an interesting topic. This Year’s Topic: Is AI the solution to health? This year’s Summit will be focused on using artificial intelligence (AI) within life science with a specific focus on the healthcare industry. We will discuss problems and how various companies and research groups have been able to solve them through the utilization of AI. This will be a broad overview of different aspects of healthcare, such as clinical tools, nutrition, biometrics, and drug development.
