My research area is primarily within social law and social rights, in particular anti-discrimination law, equality law and poverty law.
My current research project 'Down by Law? Courts' construction of Poverty Standards in Europe' is funded by Carlsberg Foundation and I investigate how judicial practices both nationally and internationally form poverty norms and rules and specifically rules concerning subsistence minimums.
I have also worked with the development of legislation and public policies concerning equality broadly, economic inequality and anti-discrimination law.
In my current research I am broadly interested in
- Social law broadly and social benefits
- Poverty law
- Equality and anti-discrimination law
- Economic inequality in national and international legal context
