Professor Helle Porsdam to deliver the Tanner-McMurrin Lecture 2025

On October 21, Professor Helle Porsdam will lecture on the right to science at Westminster University in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

Together with Professor Elizabeth Ashford, St. Andrews University, Porsdam has been invited by the university to speak in the prestigious Tanner-McMurrin Lecture Series.

The topic of this year’s Lectures is “Human Rights for Our Time: The Human Right to Subsistence and the Human Right to Science.”

The Tanner-McMurrin Lectures date back to 1987. Previous lecturers include Diana Eck, Michael Walzer, Martha Nussbaum and Joel Rosenthal:
