PROFILE
Carina Risvig Hamer, ph.d. associate professor in public procurement law. Her research area involves public procurement law, EU law and administrative law. Currently her research concentrates on four topics:
1) Central Purchasing Bodies (CPBs), Co-editor of a large international book project on CPBs, to be published as book by Edward Elgar. Part of the Public Procurement Law Series.
2) Exclusion and proportionality. Recently published an article on exclusion of tenderers in EPPLR and working on an article on proportionality
3) Remedies for breaches of the Public Procurement Rules: A second edition of her commentary on the Danish Remedies system has been published in June 2020 and an article on the same topic in Upphandlingsretligt Tidsskrift
4) Methodology, co-editor with Sten Schaumburg-Müller on a book on legal methodology, which will be published in September 2020, co-author with Rasmus Horskjær Nielsen on an article on the preprartory works to the Danish Procurement Act, published in Ufr in April 2020.
Expert Member of the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement
Member of the European Procurement Law Group.
Speaker at over 150 national conferences, events and workshops and approx. 40 international conferences and seminars in mainly Italy, UK, Portugal, Belgium, Sweden and Norway. Organiser of several conferences e.g. the international Conference Public Procurement Days 2012 at Copenhagen Business School and of the Conference: Udbud og digitalisering, University of Southern Denmark November 2017.
