Challenges for democracy: Partner in the interdisciplinary  research project Horizon 2020 DEMOS: Democratic Efficacy and the Varieties of Populism in Europe: https://demos-h2020.eu/en. Involved in a Nordic and in a global IACL research project on the impact of Covid-19 on constitutionalism, human rights and democracy.  Studied the impact of the EU and internationalization in general on national democracy including the competences of national Parliaments since 1999. Challenges to democracy caused by digitalization, see below.
