Jurinea micevskii (Asteraceae) is described and illustrated as a new species endemic to Mt Galicica in the
southwestern Republic of Macedonia. It resembles J. taygetea, a narrow endemic of Mt Taigetos in the
Peloponnese, southern Greece and J. bocconei from Mt Madoníe in north central Sicily. The record of J.
taygetea for Bulgaria is erroneous.
