This article reports and comments on interesting Danish Microlepidoptera collected in 2019 and includes remarkable
records from previous years. The classification and nomenclature follow the Danish checklist from 2013. No species are
reported as new to the Danish fauna in 2019. Two species: Tuta absoluta (Meyrick, 1917) (Gelechiidae) and Clepsis
peritana (Clemens, 1860) (Tortricidae) are transferred from the ’faunistic observation list’ to the main list of Danish
Lepidoptera, based on repeated records from light traps: the total number of Danish Gelechiidae is now 183, and the
corresponding number for Tortricidae is 396. This results in a total of 1631 species of Microlepidoptera (families
Micropterigidae–Zygaenidae + Pyralidae–Crambidae) found in Denmark. The total number of Macrolepidoptera species
recorded from Denmark is 981, bringing the number of Danish Lepidoptera to a total of 2612 species. This is the 41th
article in the series of yearly lists of Microlepidoptera from Denmark published in Entomologiske Meddelelser
