Timo Minssen - Speaker

Jakob Wested - Speaker

This presentation delivers a short description of the history, activities and vision of the newly established Centre for Advanced Studies in Biomedical Innovation Law (CeBIL). This includes a brief explanation of ongoing research projects, such as our international CeBIL Research Program with among others Harvard Law School, Harvard Medical School, and the University of Cambridge. This project is funded by a generous grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation and examines legal aspects of drug development in antibiotics, orphan drugs, black box precision medicine, new uses and manufacturing of biologics. Moreover, CeBIL researchers are involved in other projects which will be briefly explained, such as POLICYAID (ERC), ICEAGE - Entangled Lives, Times, and Ethics in Fertility Preservation (Independent Research Fund Denmark), JURFAST - The Legal Framework for the use of health data (Lundbeck Foundation), and “Reconceptualising Reproductive Rights” (Independent Research Fund Denmark).
