Romain Chuffart is the Nansen Professor in Arctic Studies (2024 and 2025) at the University of Akureyri in Iceland where he specializes in the rights of Indigenous peoples, international human rights law, international environmental law, and the law of the sea as applied to the Arctic.

Ingi is an Icelandic attorney with over 15 years of experience in litigation, focusing on environmental law and human rights law.

Daniel M. Bodansky is a preeminent authority on global climate change whose teaching and research focus on international environmental law and public international law. He teaches courses in international law and sustainability and is a key player in the College of Law’s new Program on Law and Sustainability. 

Baine Kerr is a PhD Candidate at Utrecht University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, United States, as well as a juris doctor from UCLA School of Law, Los Angeles, California, United States. He also obtained an LL.M degree in Public International Law (cum laude) from Utrecht University.

Joel Ong is a researcher at NUS Centre for International Law. Joel specialises in Ocean law Conducting research on issues of Ocean Law and Policy-

Pranav Ganesan is a research assistant at The University of Zurich, on the project "Climate Change and Remedies". 

the CRRP will research anthropogenic climate change and the ways in which the law, and specifically human rights law, can respond to it. 

Alessandro Galli is LLM candidate in Law at the University of Milan. His master thesis research focuses on the role of the State aid as a potential tool for the protection of the environment, the development of renewable energies and for the fight against climate change. Alessandro's main research interests are related to European Law, European Competiton Law and European Environmental Law. 

Eiriks research is related to a comparative assessment of national licensing procedures for offshore wind in the North Sea Basin. Currently entitled `A Comparative Legal Analysis of North Sea Offshore Wind Licensing Procedures`

Filippo Garelli is a PhD candidate in Public, Comparative and International Law at Sapienza University of Rome (Department of Political Science), curriculum International Order and Human Rights.

Catherine Hall is a PhD candidate at the Center for Climate Change, Energy & Environmental Law (CCEEL) at the University of Eastern Finland. Prior to joining CCEEL, Catherine graduated with a Master’s degree in Global Environmental Law and Governance from the University of Strathclyde. During and after her time at Strathclyde, Catherine also contributed as a researcher to several projects for the Strathclyde Centre for Environmental Law & Governance (SCELG).

Nikolaos Karampatzos is a PhD candidate at the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. 

Elena Cima is a Lecturer in Public International Law at the University of Geneva, where she teaches courses on international environmental law, energy law, and investment law.

Margherita Paola Poto is a Research Professor at the Faculty of Law, UiT - The Arctic University of Norway and has taught  Administrative Law for more than 20 years at the University of Turin, Italy.

Randall S. Abate is the inaugural Rechnitz Family and Urban Coast Institute Endowed Chair in Marine and Environmental Law and Policy, and the Director of the Institute for Global Understanding at Monmouth University.
