Aysel Küçüksu is a Postdoctoral Researcher on the Human Rights Nudge Project. Her expertise is within compliance, human rights, digitalisation, and vulnerability theory. She currently teaches and supervises BA and MA theses in Fundamental Human Rights (Individets Grundlæggende Rettigheder) in Danish and English. Her primary interest therein concerns the intersection of artificial intelligence and human rights. To this end, together with Zuzanna Godzimirska, and in collaboration with Algoritmer, Data og Demokrati, she is working on establishing a Digitalisering og Individets Grundlæggende Rettigheder Database, funded by Copenhagen University and Illum Fonden.
Aysel holds a PhD in Law from the University of Geneva (Magna Cum Laude), a PhD in Philosophy from LUISS-Guido Carli di Roma, LLM from the University of Copenhagen, and an LLB from Queen Mary, University of London. She speaks English, Danish, Turkish, Bulgarian fluently, and French and Italian at a conversational level.
