New PhD student at CECS - Annemette Fallentin Nyborg
Annemette Fallentin Nyborg joined CECS on 19 April 2022. Her PhD project illuminates and addresses the normative and legal questions that arise at the intersection of climate change and national and regional human rights law. She will examine whether the national and regional human rights »architecture« is fit for tackling climate change, ultimately answering if global climate change challenges can be addressed appropriately as human rights issues?
Her supervisor is Professor Jens Elo Rytter. Annemette holds a Danish law degree (cand.jur.) from University of Copenhagen. Before joining the Faculty of Law, Annemette worked at Denmark's Permanent Representation to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
