Professional Experience.

Universidad de los Andes - Professor (2022).

Professor of the "Online Content Regulation" course in the diploma "Law and Regulation of New Technologies" taught by the Universidad de Los Andes, Chile. The objective of the course was to analyse the impact of disinformation on fundamental rights and the diverse regulatory responses developed in comparative law, with special attention to the European Union approach.

Senate of the Republic of Chile - External Policy Advisor (2021-2022).

As an external advisor, my primary role was researching various matters related to law and digital technologies, with particular emphasis on the following areas: (i) online platforms, (ii) artificial intelligence, and (iii) cybersecurity. The preceding includes analysing the current regulatory map on these subjects (globally) and developing mechanisms, including legal proposals, for Chile's safe development of digital technologies.

Fundacion P!Ensa - Collaborator (2020-2022).

As a collaborator, I focused on investigating topics related to my fields of expertise, especially law and digital technologies. Remarkably, this allowed me to write articles published in diverse news media in Chile regarding the status of online disinformation, potential anti-fake news legislation for election periods, and the different stakeholders' roles in the online disinformation ecosystem.

Arias, Gompertz Abogados - Senior Associate (2012 – 2019).

As an associate, my practice focused on providing legal support for national and international companies from diverse sectors such as retail, technology, and telecommunications.
