Artur holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Copenhagen and an LL.M. degree from the University of Lund, Sweden. He has extensive national and international legal experience, including employment with the Trial Chamber II of the Special Court for Sierra Leone as an Associate Legal Officer in the case of Prosecutor v. Charles Taylor. At various times, Artur also received practical and academic experience from such institutions as International Criminal Court, Lauterpacht Centre for International Law at the University of Cambridge, and others.

Primary fields of research

Artur’s primary research interests to date fall within the following areas:

(i) public international law;

(ii) international criminal law;

(iii) international humanitarian law;

(iv) international human rights law;

(v) international criminal procedure and evidence; 

(vi) comparative procedure and evidence

(vii) law of evidence

(viii) law and politics

(vix) law of cybersecurity.

Teaching

Artur teaches a course in International Criminal Law and Procedure.

Artur also supervises students writing their master theses in the area of 'cybersecurity and international law'.
