Copenhagen School of Law and Governance

As a master student on International Business and Politics (cand.merc.pol.), Business Economics and Law (cand.merc.jur.) or Political Science (cand.scient.pol.) you are now guaranteed admission to most master courses at the Faculty of Law, Copenhagen University.

This means that you are no longer required to apply for preliminary approval for courses at the Faculty of Law or the three other degrees that form part of the agreement. As a result of this agreement you are guaranteed credit for a range of courses at the Faculty of Law. You will still be required to inform the study administration at your own institution about your study activities and apply for admission to the courses you wish to follow, but overall the process has been simplified.

Two places are reserved on each course at the Faculty of Law for the group of master students studying International Business and Politics, Business Administration and Law and Political Science. The only requirement is that you have passed your bachelor’s degree before applying.

If you wish to follow one or more master course(s) at the Faculty of Law the procedure is:

  1. Find the master course/courses you wish to apply for in the course catalogue at (you cannot apply for courses which are similar to courses you have previously followed).

  2. Fill out this application form (Opens in early April 2015). The period for application is 7 april – 24 april 2015.

  3. Attach your bachelor certificate and proof of registration at a Further Education Programme. The bachelor certificate is required for distributing courses.

  4. Notify your own institution about your study activity at the Faculty of Law (ask your own study administration/information for more information about this).
