Nordic Fight against Corruption - Challenges, Tools and Results

Conference Theme

The Center for Enterprise Liability (CEVIA), Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen is inviting submissions for the conference: Nordic Fight against Corruption: Challenges, Tools and Results, to be held at the Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen on September 27-28, 2018.

The conference The Nordic Fight against Corruption aims to bring legal and compliance professionals from Nordics and abroad to one venue in order to promote legal scholarship and in-depth discussion about the fight against corruption. The aim of the conference is to better understand the challenge of corruption inside as well as outside of Nordics, to review the existing legal tools to protect Nordic companies against corruption and to uncover possible corruption practices outside of Nordics. Furthermore, it is the purpose of this conference to provide the participants with the possibility to share their experience and practices. The conference is divided into several panels and workshops.

Call for Papers

We are looking for submissions in the following panels:

  • Legal Tools to Fight Corruption – Nordic’s Experience
  • Legal Tools to Fight Corruption – Lessons from Outside
  • Corruption Investigation – Technology and Beyond
  • Enforcement – Limits of Current Regulations

We are particularly welcoming submissions with comparative and pragmatic perspective. Chosen presenters will be required to submit a full draft of their papers by September 1, 2018. After the conference, authors will have the opportunity to revise and finalize their papers in order to submit them for publication.

Submission Procedure
An abstract of 500 words (max) should be sent to Alexandra Horváthová at, with the subject line “ Nordic Fight against Corruption”. Please, indicate your affiliation and attach a CV. The deadline for submissions is May 31, 2018. Presenters will be chosen, through a blind selection process, to present their work at the conference. The audience will include the participating presenters, faculty, practitioners and compliance officers.
