CEVIA seminar on foreign investments and natural resources

Tuesday 8 November CEVIA is hosting an informal lunch seminar with visiting Professor Marc Bungenberg.

Marc Bungenberg will speak about the interrelation between international investment and natural resources law focusing on the incorporation of sustainable development and environmental protection in international investment agreements and investment contracts.

Marc Bungenberg is a professor in public international law and European law, the director of the Europa-Institut, Saarland University and the editor of the European Yearbook of International Economic Law.

The lunch seminar takes place from 12:00 – 13:00 at the Faculty of Law, the main building in the meeting room at the ground floor. Everyone is welcome to join, but as seats are limited, please sign up in advance. Sandwiches will be served.

The lunch seminar is hosted by CEVIA as part of the Arctic Research project, which focuses on liability and responsibility aspects in connection with natural resource extraction in Greenland.
