New textbook on sustainability law
Sustainability and ESG are hot topics nowadays and a key area of interest to both the public and private sector, including investors, consumers and in interest organizations. The EU has adopted extensive regulation which obliges member states and corporations to address and account for their sustainability impact. The new EU sustainability regulation has caused a stir amongst corporations in terms of understanding the requirements and ensuring full compliance. The complexity of the new requirements has therefore triggered a need for further clarification and better understanding of the regulation. The Law Faculty proudly announces the launch of a new book on sustainability law. The book explains the main rules and regulations on sustainability and ESG from three different perspectives: the global level, the EU level, and the national level of Denmark. The book is used as a textbook for law students, but it is also useful for people who work with sustainability in practice, e.g., in law firms, in the financial sector, in companies, organizations and elsewhere. The book is written by Professor Linda Nielsen, associate professor Lone Wandahl Mouyal and attorney-at-law Flemming Priested. The book is in Danish and published by DJØF.
