New PhD student - Yasin Huber
Yasin Huber holds an LL.M. in International Criminal Law and Security from the University of Northampton, UK. In addition to this, Yasin has law enforcement training and has worked as a specialist in immigration matters for the Police Inspectorate in Bern, Switzerland, where he has qualified for the rank of detective. His professional expertise includes carrying out investigative operations, issuing decisions and rulings, submitting criminal complaints for prosecution, and collaborating within the federal working group on asylum and human trafficking. Yasin’s PhD project is part of the greater research project JustSites and sets out to study the relations between the international criminal tribunals and multilateral police organisations, and how it affects the international criminal justice system.
