Mikael Rask Madsen: Papes’ human rights declaration strengthen the Court

It will be neither easier nor more difficult to deport criminal foreigners with the new declaration approved Friday 13th of April 2018.

In the long term, the declaration that the Council of Europe has approved in Copenhagen Friday, will presumably have a great impact on the further development of the human rights system.

Professor Mikael Rask Madsen especially emphasizes, that the declaration focuses on the heap of 55.000 cases that await processing at the Court in Strasbourg. And that it spells out that the Court needs to be democratically anchored.
