New visitor at iCourts - Yue Zhao

Yue Zhao, LERU Exchange PhD student, University of Geneva, Switzerland, is visiting iCourts 11 October - 30 November 2018. She earned bachelor and master degrees at Renmin University of China and was awarded her second master at University of Geneva. She has practical experiences in Beijing and Taipei. Her study areas include international treaty-based arbitration, international commercial arbitration and comparative arbitration law. She is currently conducting the doctoral research titled Recognition and Enforcement of Investment Arbitration Awards in China. During her stay at iCourts, she will make a comparative analysis of the implementation of the 1958 New York Convention in European countries and in China, in particular, the applicability of the Convention with regard to treaty-based arbitration awards.
