Sensors like this can provide dramatically better care. However, whenever there is a digital aspect involved, there is also the potential for a lot to go wrong - from hacking to privacy issues." 

A recent commentary in Nature Electronics by Sara Gerke, Timo Minssen, Helen Yu & Glenn Cohen urges the community to look at these ethical and legal issues associated with IESs.
