•Public biobanks in a university setting and legal challenges posed by translational research and personalized medicine.
•Special focus on intellectual property rights in biobanking and international collaboration.
This is an interdisciplinary cross-faculty project run by University of Copenhagenwhich concentrates on the legal and ethical aspects of biobanking and also looks at how biobanks can cooperate to form a common goal.
