Copenhagen School of Law and Governance

You are now as a student on cand.merc.jur., cand.merc.pol., from CBS and Political Science, guaranteed pre-approval for several master courses at the Faculty of Law. That means you no longer need to apply for pre-approval for courses that are included in the agreement, but are guaranteed credit transfer.  You still have to inform the administration at your institute that you want to take courses at Law and apply for a place on the course you want to study, but the first step in the process has been cut and it is therefore easier for you as a student. In total, two places are reserved on each course for students from the three programmes that are part of the agreement (Political Science, Business Economics and Law and International Business and Politics). You must have passed your bachelor before you can apply.

  1. Find one or more courses you wish to study at master level in the Law course catalogue www.kurser.ku.dk (you can’t apply for courses where the content is the same as courses you have taken before or courses titled ”higher education”)

  2. Fill out this form concerning course applications. The application procedure to become a credit student in the autumn term is from 11 to the 25 April. For the spring term the application period is the 18 October – 1 November.

  3. Attach your bachelor certificate, this will be used to distribute courses.

  4. Inform your study administration that you are taking courses at the Faculty of Law (contact your own study administration to get more information).

If you applied for a course in the spring term you will receive a response by 21 November at the latest. For the autumn term you will receive a response by 10 May at the latest.
