Course description

Following the introduction of the European Green Deal and EU focus on Circular Economy; the Commission clearly states that the EU public procurement reform did not uptake SPP enough. Therefore, the plan is to introduce minimum mandatory green criteria and targets for public procurement in key sectors. In the light of these developments, it is crucial to gain understanding on how social and environmental parameters can best be integrated at the appropriate stage of the procurement process in a legally compliant manner; and what are the legal limitations and how to deal with them.

The course will take place in English.
