Vivek Srinivas Veluvali

Vivek Srinivas Veluvali is a MSc student in the climate change program at the University of Copenhagen, focusing mainly on machine learning methods in computational oceanography as well as the political theory and geopolitics of climate change.

Vivek’s primary interests are theories of constructed space and scale as they relate to geopolitics, the role of nature as a political agent, and the politics of cooperation with respect to climate change and science.

Vivek is currently working on a project describing the geopolitics of climate change along the Syr Darya, as well as a project using neural networks to create an emulator for Pleistocene glacial cycle dynamics.
