Katja Jane Elizabeth Juthans
Katja is a second-year MSc student in Climate Change at the University of Copenhagen's Faculty of Science. She holds a BA in Political Science, Economics, and Indigenous Studies from McGill University through which she developed a strong interest in research at the intersection of climate governance and environmental justice.

Katja will be writing her master's thesis at CLIMA this fall under the title "Mapping the Operationalization of Environmental Justice Principles in Arctic Ocean Climate Law and Governance." In her thesis, she plans to examine how principles of environmental justice are operationalized within climate law and governance frameworks governing the Arctic Ocean.
