Érica Guerreiro

Dr. Érica Guerreiro is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo (IO/USP) and a researcher in the Brazilian Antarctic Program.
She holds a PhD in Energy from the Institute of Energy and Environment (IEE/USP), University of São Paulo, Brazil, with a concentration in Energy Analysis and Planning and a research focus on Energy and Environment. During her doctoral studies, she was a visiting researcher in 2023 at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany, and a short-term international PhD visiting researcher in 2022 at the Centre for Environmental Policy (CEP), Imperial College London, UK.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering with a research focus on Waste Treatment and Final Disposal.
